Scope of the Department

Understanding Anatomy and knowledge of Ayurvedic Anatomy helps students to understand human body thoroughly and there by making a basis for diagnosing and treating diseases.

About the Department

This subject is one of the fundamental building blocks in the study of Ayurveda.Theory classes for first BAMS, Practical classes such as Dissection, histology and Osteology. 

Major facilities for students
Department has a well-equipped lecture hall with smart class facilities. It has the provision of comfortable seating for 60 students. The department boasts of an impressive dissection hall with sufficient cadavers. A well-organized museum with specimens, models, articulated and non-articulated skeletons, charts etc. Well-equipped light microscopes and binocular microscopes for histology. Department has a very good collection of more than 50 books including both Ayurveda and modern.
